Who: All Users of Citrix Workspace App What: Citrix Workspace App Authentication Changes When: Friday, January 10, 2020 Why: ITS is changing the authentication mechanism on Citrix Workspace to match Workspace for Web. Beginning January 10, authentication for the Citrix Workspace application will be similar to logging into MyCloud from a browser. Citrix provides sample scripts that can be downloaded from one of the Workspace app or Receiver download pages (Workspace app version 2103.1 (Current Release), or Workspace app version 1912 CU3 (aka ) (LTSR), Receiver version 4.9.9002 (LTSR) by expanding Downloads for Admins (Deployment Tools). Once you launch an application through the Citrix Workspace, you will be able to see your network files. For instance, when you launch Word through the Citrix Workspace, not only will you have access to the full application but you will also be able to get to your personal folders.

Beginning January 10, authentication for the Citrix Workspace application will be similar to logging into MyCloud from a browser.
If a UNCG account is Duo-enabled, users will be prompted for Duo credentials when signing into Workspace
The “Remember me for 15 days” feature does not function with Workspace. Ntfs paragon seagate. Users must authenticate with Duo upon every login.
Note: YubiKeys are not compatible with Workspace.
ITS no longer supports Citrix Receiver. All users must download the latest Workspace app available for their devices and operating systems.
